Make that electronically garbled 16mm films with image quality inferior to super 8!

I agree that the cost of making a ccd cartridge type device would be at least equal to a high end dv camera, so I don't really know if there'd be that much point, as well as the fact that, apart from the optics, I don't see how much of the existing technology in a super 8 camera could be made use of by the ccd cartridge.
